By simulating how the printer works the Quick Toner tests 5 functional pieces of the toner cartridge: Printing Drum, Primary Charger Roller (PCR), Transfer Roller (magnetic), Wiper Blade and Doctor Blade.

It is included 3 holders that make possible to test the main HP black cartridges in the market, as following:

Holder 1 - Q2612 (12A), CB435 (35A), CB436 (36A).

Holder 2 - Q2613 (13A), Q7115 (15A).

Holder 3 - Q5949 (49A), Q7553 (53A).
